FreeSaurus - The Free Thesaurus! App Reviews

I tried to look up a few words in the Thesaurus and got nothing:(

I searched for the word "Exemplify" and found the word, "expound." When I clicked "define," I got a loading screen. This went on for ten minutes; I stared at it really stoned before realizing that nothing would happen. Good concept, nice icon. The reason I downloaded was because it reminded me of a better app that looked the same. Great app to fool your friends into thinking you have a fully functional thesaurus on your favorite iOS device.

The interface is bad, which helps to hide the poor results when searching for a word. For example, searching for more returns less, fewer, many, much, and then a handful of words describing Sir Thomas More. Granted, the app is free, and it doesnt crash; but you can find much better thesaurus apps than this for free.

I use this Thesaurus App to add variety in my wording in order to improve the way that I communicate so I depend on it somewhat often. I feel it offers a reasonably good amount of synonyms for the words I look up and Ive never had any *porn* pop ups like another reviewer commented on, so Im not sure what that alls about unless the App owner already addressed that problem. The biggest problem that I have had to deal with on occasion is that the App randomly shuts off. I will type in a word and randomly without any rhyme or reason to it, the App disconnects and shuts down/disappears. And for about 5-10 minutes no matter what word I attempt to get information on the same results occur with it shutting down. Then a couple of hours, give or take, Ill open the App again and everything will be working.

Its free and it word good enough for a free app. Im glad I found it. Love it.

It is a great app but I do think it has to have a better dictionary on it

Nothing shows up for the thesaurus part... I personally DO NOT RECCOMEND IT ... Lol

This app has nothing ever show up like a real thesaurus! It would just be better to go out and buy one!!!!!!!!!

I totally love this app and it is a great, on the go thesaurus & dictionary! The thesaurus is absolutely awesome but the dictionary needs a tad bit of work but other than that it is great!

Love this app. It has an extreme amount of both synonyms and antonyms AND its a dictionary!

This app is very useful! I really like it and it is very handy!

I searched for synonyms for the word delicious and nothing showed up. I can think of at least three off the top of my head. A perfect example of a useless application. Dont waste your time downloading it.

Asked for a synonym of area and got the word pizza. This app gets no love

This app is horrible, because it fails at providing enough synonyms. I have used this application half a dozen times and not once has it been helpful in finding a suitable word. As soon as I finish writing this I will be removing this app as it is a waste of time and space.

Is hard to read upside down!

I typed in "dragon" because I was curious and I got "disagreeable woman", "flying lizard", etc. none of which would have been helpful. I typed in a few other words too but nothing worth while. Waste of time and space

I wouldnt trust the reviews... Try it; keep it if you like it; delete it if you dont. Too many reviews from people who probably werent getting the results they desired because he or she cannot spell.

So useful! But why not adapted for iPhone 5?!
